Yeah, i only really got into taylor’s music recently and love everything starting with her 1989 album cuz each album after that had its own unique sound to it, imo (save for evermore). So when i tell you that i just sat there, mildly perplexed and dare i say, dumbfounded, at how TTPD sounded as monotone as the album cover’s colors, you best believe cuz i was at a loss for words, in a not so good way. Only songs that stood out to me were Florida (cuz i really liked Florence’s part) and Who’s afraid of lil old me (cuz it reminded me of her reputation era, thats it)

You are so odd when it comes to women expressing their emotions. It’s actually concerning. You did the same with Lana and you did the same with Fiona. What a horrible perspective to come from when reviewing music.

3:45 thats are really interesting analyses. I initially felt the same until I listened the analog versions on vinyl and tape. I feel the digital is so processed/compressed separation is hurt and it all blends together. The analog versions (obviously from different digital masters) are so much better and MUCH more relaxed to listen while still remaining the vibe

So glad to see all these metal reviews from this year, I really love the attention you're giving the genre. Of course this is quite the year for quality metal releases so far, so I get why! As for High on Fire, I feel like I've always kind of slept on them, so it's interesting to see you rate it so high. Personally I have a tough time with the vocals on this one but maybe I'll come around

Mabye anthony suffers from crippiling illiteracy so he can’t read lyrics? He call Agnes a sunny vibe? It is layerd with refrences to other art that are about death. For anyone who loves this as much as I do - check out teenage jesus and the freaks They're an older band, and you'd be surprised how much they sound like little women, especially on songs like Empty Eyes. Highly recommended!

My first time listening to Taylor Swift and it was decent tbh. But I've always been a vibe-hunter more than a lyrical analyst. Would be disappointed if this is anywhere near her top 5 albums though.

Strongly recommend this album. Listened to it on release on a whim, everything except The Best Tears of Your Life was good to great, Not Everybody Gets to Go to Space and R&B omega slap.
